Learning with films
The
film “The Devil Wears Prada” made a wonderful job at showing the class that the
world of work is not as simple and easy as we might have thought.
The first piece of career advice that
I learned from the movie was: Never compromise your personal life. No matter
how much your salary is, or how much you like it, no job is worth being
unhappy, because it’s never fair to stop having fun or in an extreme situation,
lose the ones you love.
The second is: Stay true to yourself.
In the workplace, it’s understandable to change your attitude, but in regular
situations, don’t change because of it.
And the last: Never lose sight of your
dream. Because your dream is what makes you happy, and you can wait for a
while, but never give up on your dream.
